Disappearing fence~Friday Fences~021712

I drove out by some of the windmills near the Palm Springs airport last Monday.  Actually these are right by the AMTRAK station.  Fence?  Can you see it?  It's disappearing into the sand.  A fence in this area just doesn't have a chance to remain standing long as this is "wind alley".  That's why all the windmills are there.  You'll have to look closely to see the fence!  Friday Fences for February 17, 2012.  To view other fences, please go to:   http://lifeaccordingtojanandjer.blogspot.com/

Okay...I'm going to try this blog being word verification free and see how it works. If I get a lot of spam, I'll go back to the old system of word verification.

Cool pictures of the clouds and the windmills. It almost looks like snow covering the fence.

Disappearing fence is great. Dramatic skies as well... I think you're right about the snow melting. We won't get out to 29 Palms until next weekend, but maybe some of the high shady areas of JT might have some patches left.
