A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

Oak leaves in Oak Creek Canyon, AZ~Mellow Yellow Monday 110810
Hubby and I drove through Oak Creek Canyon, in Arizona, on Saturday. It was full of beautiful yellow leaves, like on this tree. There were a lot of other people enjoying autumn's show! Mellow Yellow Monday for November 8, 2010.
I saw the fall color show in Oak Creek Canyon/Sedona some years ago. I'll never forget it...beautiful! I hope you are enjoying your Arizona trip! Be safe on the road!
