White picket fences~Friday Fences~October 21, 2011

I LOVE white picket fences, but there aren't many around here in the desert.  I DID find these, however, up in our local mountains.  I drive up there every weekend to visit my horses.  I board them up in the mountains, out of the desert, and I enjoy the change of scenery, especially in the fall.  Friday Fences for October 21, 2011.  To visit Friday Fences, please go to:  http://lifeaccordingtojanandjer.blogspot.com/

Nice fence shots.

What an entrance! Picket supercharged! Love the spunky paint colors on the barn. One of our oldest horse farms in KY keeps the red and white scheme.

I love the way the pickets become taller as they near the gate! There is just something so comforting about a white picket fence!

White picket fences seem so homey, don't they? Nice shots!

How many horses do you have? Do you ride each one on the weekends?

so pretty, when it is time to paint they might have to remember tom Sawyer.

Awesome find! I know what you mean about the picket fences, hard to find out here, too. Some of the horse property has it but it is more utilitarian that for the mere beauty of it.

Love how the fence opens up so you can see those brilliant red doors.
