"D" is for dune~ABC Wednesday 021010

After our rain this weekend, I took a drive around the desert and found these sand dunes in, of course, Bermuda Dunes. There is one street that parallels the freeway that has these dunes and it doesn't have much traffic. ABC Wednesday for February 10, 2010. Have a great day!

Sand dune...I wonder if snake and scorpions wonder under the sand?

Yes. Our desert has rattlesnakes including sidewinders. And, yes, we also have scorpions. BUT, I wear my steel toed WalMart $20 boots when I go out into the desert! I've had those boots now for two years and while I need a new pair of shoelaces, the boots have held up very well.

Sand dunes always remind me of 'other worlds'. Beautiful photos. I'm glad you wear boots in the desert.
