I had to drive our daughter and son-in-law to the Palm Springs airport last week as they were flying to Alaska to visit their cousins. After I saw their jet fly overhead, I decided to drive out and see the windmills. Aren't they interesting? You can see them from Interstate 10, but if you take Indian Avenue, you can drive right by them. That's My World for Tuesday, August 10, 2010.

I love seeing these when I drive to LA.
Terrific captures! It's amazing and wonderful how many more them you're seeing everywhere these days. I hope they're a positive step in making the most of all of our worlds! Have a great week!

terrific photos. i've always wanted to see windmills up close and personal. these would do for now.:p
the first time I saw the wind turbines was during a train trip from Vienna to Prague, I was enchanted before these endless expanses of gentle majestic giants and impressive rhythmic movements. You've got your good memories with these beautiful photos!

wind farms are good, sustainable energy. I would like to see more of them.
I like windfarms. There were some huge ones when I was driving through Wyoming.
