Deserts and Beyond
Deserts and beyond...places in and around the southern California deserts and beyond. Photo taken at Canyon Lake, in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona, December 2011. A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

They look mysterious and shade a must for me as not a heat or summer person! I'm new in town and I post from various blogs so last week my E was a 50-word story called The Prince of Darkness is a gentleman. This week my F is a poem called The final seaside trip. I hope you have a good week!
love the shadows and light

That looks like somewhere I'd like to walk, too! They're quite spectacular trees, by the look of it, and shade is so lovely when you live somewhere hot.
On behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thanks for taking part this week! :)
Amazing shots of FAN palms. Never seen them before.
Gorgeous photos and haunting music!
We LOVE those Fan Palms, don't we! I can't resist walk among them either. Beautiful, almost sacred places.
'Fan palm' is a good choice of F-word.
Spooky music.
Best wishes,
Anna
