A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

Can't you just smell the pine trees? Macro Monday -62110
Hubby and I found these pine cones out on the north rim of the Grand Canyon at one of the turnouts. Can't you just smell the pine trees? Ahhhh.....what a delightful smell! Macro Monday for June 21, 2010.
Hi, conosco molto bene l'odore di questo albero... la mia montagna ne รจ piena !!! Ricordo che da piccola raccoglievo le pigne per colorarle e poi appenderle sull'albero di Natale !! Quelli si, che erano bei tempi ! Buona giornata :-))
