Wildflowers in Joshua Tree~Mellow Yellow 041210

All along the roads in Joshua Tree, we saw these beautiful yellow flowers. I believe they are a desert dandelion. Whatever they are, there are fields and fields of them and they line the roads! Aren't they cute? Mellow Yellow Monday for April 12, 2010. Back to school!

When I lived in Riverside, CA decades ago, Joshua Tree was a favorite place to visit. Thanks so much for the visual reminder.

These are the desert dandelion...I saw a lot of them in Anza Borego a few weeks ago...they are so pretty, too.

I've never heard of that..we are just getting a few dandelions here in western NY.. important for the bees to have these and so many people use weed killer on them... Michelle

Riverside deve essere veramente un posto incantevole... quale sia il nome di questi fiori gialli devo dire che sono veramente incantevoli nel loro colore giallo :-)
Buona giornata :-)
