"S" is for...ABC Wednesday 112509

snow! We took this photo a couple of years ago after a snow storm hit our local mountains. Those are the windmills outside of Palm Springs. That's Mt. San Jacinto's north face. Sometimes it still has remnants of snow in May! ABC Wednesday, November 25, 2009.

The windmills appear to be preparing to march over the mountains. A great shot.

Ah, yes! We're seeing it on the mountains here in Washington! The season is upon us! Terrific shot with the windmills in the foreground!

Happy Thanksgiving, Cheryl Ann!

We love seeing that sight too! Snow above the desert is pretty amazing...Let's hope for more this year. Beautiful capture.

Everything looks so much more photogenic in the desert, doesn't it? I wonder if it's the quality of the light?

looks nice, though I'm not looking forward to it myself.

I've been enjoying your beautiful blog very much. We too have snow this morning - our first of the year!

That's quite a photo. Those wind-turbines look almost alien.

Thanks for participating this week.
