Here's more of the Palm Desert "public art". In front of the giant dragonfly (which scares me!) is a hummingbird. Not a little bird, but a huge one. See the car in the second photo? That's how big these things are...I guess I just don't understand public art. Oh, well!

Giant hummingbird and dragonfly in the middle of the road, fantastic! The metallic colors do resemble the real things.
