Deserts and Beyond

Deserts and beyond...places in and around the southern California deserts and beyond. Photo taken at Canyon Lake, in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona, December 2011. A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

Grass Valley~Window Views and Doors, Too 072210

Hubby and I had never visited Grass Valley before. Grass Valley is an old mining town in northern California. As we drove through town, we parked and walked around and saw this beautifully preserved old hotel. Just look at all those windows! Window View and Doors, Too for July 22, 2010.

Ooooo... that place looks cool! Wonder if it's haunted? Nice pic.

This is a beautiful building and patriotic, too! The flag against the deep blue sky is fantastic!

Those old colonial structures truly left us in awe how life before us was like.

The window and door of opportunity starts right here in this meme to make us aware of the lifestyle long ago which is now History.
