Yosemite waterfalls~Watery Wednesday~070611
I didn't take these photos. Hubby did. I've learned how to manipulate the manual settings on my Nikon digital camera, but not to the degree that hubby can. My waterfall photos are...waterfalls. His are art...sigh...I still have a lot to learn! But, I thought I'd share them on this Watery Wednesday because maybe if I see them, I'll push myself to try this. He set it on aperature priority at 1/20 of a second, using a tripod, hence the feeling of movement. Yosemite was FULL of waterfalls! They were at every curve, every turn! The meadows were full of water and the rivers were all swiftly flowing and high. I've never seen this much water at Yosemite and we've been there now about half a dozen times. Watery Wednesday for July 6, 2011. To see other participants, please go to: http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

I still have to learn how to do this technique properly, too. Though, I think I prefer seeing the droplets, the silky look is artistic.
I have a lot of learning to do too. I do love when images of water look so seemless/flawless; I have read a bit on settings, but need to learn a lot more!
yes the photos are beautiful, you should see also my waterfalls in the tropics, haha! I envy going to the Yosemite as i might not be able to visit it in this lifetime! thanks for the 'false visit'.
Awesome shots, I am going to have to try some like that. I guess I need to find a waterfall first.
Beautiful... I especially like the close up image... well done!
Gorgeous photos... looks like a wonderful place to walk and spend time with nature.
This is where I'm going in two weeks to paint plein air! Hope you had a grand time:)
Gorgeous!
Watery Wednesday at my page, have a nice day!
