I came across this log out in Tuolumne Meadows, in Yosemite National Park, early the morning that hubby and I drove into the park over the July 4th weekend. We stopped here because there were many deer out in the meadow. He went off wandering one way and I followed a dirt road past some fallen logs. There was still that bright morning light when I passed this one. Shadow Shot Sunday for July 10, 2011. To visit Shadow Shot Sunday, please go to:

When I lived in Calaveras County briefly several years ago, Tuolumne Meadows was one of the places I wanted to visit in Yosemite. Regretfully, I never did. But your photo has rekindled the desire within me. Thank you!
SHADOW DANCE
Shadows here and shadows there,
Shadows, shadows everywhere!
Shadows left and shadows right;
Shadows dancing through the night!
Shadows crouching on the wall;
Shadows spring and shadows fall
On the unsuspecting guest,
Who thought shadows offered rest!

A favorite place!
Interesting shadows. Looks like a great place for taking pictures. Lots of nature, beautiful scenery and shadows too.
Very good photography.
Regards!
Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday. I see your follower's list is blank, like mine has been for the past couple of days, but I did manage to start following you by going through my dashboard. I love good photographs so I'll be back.
