Where are the mountains?

I woke up early yesterday morning and had my coffee and when I glanced out my front door, I could tell there would be a gorgeous sunrise, to I headed out for my morning walk. My bronchitis is slowly receeding and I felt energetic enough for a walk. I counted 7 jackrabbits, 2 cottontails, and numerous ravens. While I couldn't see any of the mountains around the Coachella Valley, I did see a rainbow a couple of times. It was misting while I was doing my walk and then it rained all day yesterday! Even our outdoor cats wanted to come in and snuggle!
