Yesterday morning hubby was sleeping late, so I gathered up my camera (Nikon) and drove up Highway 74 to the Art Smith trailhead. I walked up Carrizo Canyon for a while. It apparently had rained (again) the night before because the ground was saturated, wet, and there weren't any prints, except for these! Hmmm...something with claws...a raccoon? Any ideas? It's too small to be a coyote. I enjoyed my morning walk and the desert smelled so fresh and clean! Ahhhh......!!!
