Table grape fences~Friday Fences~120911

I drove out toward the table grape vineyards near my school this morning to take some photos of the smudge pots at work.  Along the way, I saw the table grapes quietly standing away from the smoke, in the morning sunlight.  To me, grapes are always a calming scene.  They stand quietly and regally, their sugar concentrating on the grapes which I didn't even see on them this morning.  I plan to return tomorrow morning once again as we've had nights of freezing temps here in the Coachella Valley.  These table grapes, when mature, will be shipped all over California and the country, but for now they are sleeping.  These are the well, not fences, but wires which hold them up.  Friday Fences for December 9, 2011.  To visit Friday Fences, please go to:   http://lifeaccordingtojanandjer.blogspot.com/

Grapes and California go hand in hand.
I like your header of Mt. Whitney and rabbit brush in bloom.

Well, they are fences, but not for keeping anything in or out. Just for keeping stuff up. Still, the sunlight makes everything look better!!

This is a bit different take on the prompt. I can see why you like going there, it is peaceful, as well as beautiful.
