This is the new church at San Juan Capistrano. There was a wedding going on there last weekend and we peeked inside. It is beautiful, indeed. However, instead of the white walls, I prefer the old bricks of the mission next door. Each has its own place and time, I guess. This updated church was built in 1986 and is the tallest building in San Juan Capistrano. I still prefer the mission. I could wander around there all day. SkyWatch Friday for March 2, 2012. Oh, how lovely! The stark white walls really set off the very blue sky. You could repost this for Shadow Shot Sunday, too :)
I haven't been to the mission in many years, and this makes me want to go again!
