New church, San Juan Capistrano~SkyWatch Friday~030212
This is the new church at San Juan Capistrano. There was a wedding going on there last weekend and we peeked inside. It is beautiful, indeed. However, instead of the white walls, I prefer the old bricks of the mission next door. Each has its own place and time, I guess. This updated church was built in 1986 and is the tallest building in San Juan Capistrano. I still prefer the mission. I could wander around there all day. SkyWatch Friday for March 2, 2012. Trees and stepple reach towards that gorgeous blue sky!
A lovely pic!
Nice shot.
Regards and best wishes
Oooh to have a wedding there!!! What a dream that would be. And the pictures....oh yes! can I get married all over again??
Oh, how lovely! The stark white walls really set off the very blue sky. You could repost this for Shadow Shot Sunday, too :)
I haven't been to the mission in many years, and this makes me want to go again!
