flowers~Lowe's, Palm Desert 100509

I took a run out to Lowe's on Saturday to check out their fall flowers and was surprised to still see marigolds. DUH! It's too late for them, especially now that our temps are dipping down into the 50's at night. I was disappointed that they didn't have sweet pea seeds (...sigh...) That's the trouble with these big chains. They don't really know the planting seasons of their individual regions. They did have some pretty flowers, though, and it was a beautiful morning!
