Sierra Nevada~Vanishing Point for Sunday Stills Challenge~100911

We found this bridge over the Owens River when we traveled to the Sierra in April, during my Spring break from school.  Just look at all the snow that was still on the mountains!  We left again the day after school ended, which was June 11.  The Tioga Pass wasn't even open yet and Lake Tioga was frozen solid at that time!  We returned again over the July 4th weekend and there was still a lot of snow at the higher elevations at that time.  We love to travel to the Sierra and return there whenever we can.  Sunday Stills Challenge for October 9, 2011.

Is that a driving or walking bridge? Those railings look too short for my comfort lol. The shot is gorgeous. I love the mountains. :)
