Scarecrows and fence~Friday's Fences~101411

Here in the desert, we don't see a lot of signs of fall.  But, up in our local mountains, the scarecrows are out and watching for signs of fall.  I went to a yard sale up in Garner Valley last Sunday and these two were on guard near the house where the sale was.  The aspen up there are just starting to get a few yellow leaves and I'll keep an eye on them.  I love autumn and I'm already anxious to get back up to the mountains this weekend.  Isn't this a pretty decoration?  Friday's Fences for October 14, 2011. Fall decorations are a favorite because they start with natural materials. I hope you share a photo of your aspens when they turn gold. Never seen them for real, but drawn to photos.

Nice fall decorations. Hope you had good luck at the yardsale.

Most of our aspen are loosing their glow and they'll soon fall down when the winter wind blows.

Enjoy them while you can.

Each of our many areas provide different wonders - your Aspen trees will be glorious. :)
