Keys Point and tree branch~SkyWatch Friday 011311

This dead tree is out at Keys Point, which is the highest point in Joshua Tree National Park. That's Mt. San Jacinto, near Palm Springs, in the background. And, yes, look at our clear blue sky! No clouds here! SkyWatch Friday for January 13, 2011.

It's always worth stopping by to see your latest desert shot--even though it always makes me homesick. Haven't been to Joshua Tree in quite a while, and this makes me want to go back soon.
