Hubby and I drove up to Idyllwild, CA this past weekend, after our five days of storms passed. The roads were full of snow, but the plows were out, and so were tourists and the locals! It was a beautiful, clear Saturday morning in our local mountains and many people from the desert floor had driven up there with their kids to play in the snow! This Way Thursday and Outdoor Wednesday for January 28, 2010.

Never thought CA could have this thick of snow. You've got more snow than here in my place MI. ^_^

What a beautiful series of photos Cheryl, it's like a winter wonderland. We have had very little snow here this year so it's nice to see scenes like this.
Happy TWTW,

Snow, snow, snow. We have had the same but have blue skies today. Spring is just around the corner. Love the pictures.
Too funny! I came over here from JessesDesertRose's blog. My husband and I were in Idyllwild that same weekend! We went up there on Sunday, then down to PS and rode in the Indian Canyons on Sunday with the Desert Rose. What a small world! Love your pictures by the way!
