Deserts and Beyond

Deserts and beyond...places in and around the southern California deserts and beyond. Photo taken at Canyon Lake, in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona, December 2011. A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

Early morning light~SkyWatch Friday 011510

On my way to work one morning this week, I just couldn't resist stopping and taking some photos of the sky and early morning light. Sometimes you just have to stop and admire the morning's beauty! :-) SkyWatch Friday for January 15, 2010. No, I wasn't late, but I wasn't early either. But, it was worth it!

It's lovely, the trees in line is so nice too.
Yes, that's true, it's not complete without stopping and see the view with the beauty of nature!
Happy weekend

Stopping or at least slowing down to smell the roses is always worth it! Getting up early has to have its rewards besides getting to work on time...and this is beautiful!
