A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

During our trip to Monument Valley a couple of summers ago, a dust devil came up. Hubby took these pics of it and the dust that followed. I like the one with the saddle. ABC Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
We're planning a trip to Utah later this year, we've been before and loved it! I hope we don't run into a dust devil - though it does make for cool photos!

Great shot. I love the saddle. Little of that heat would feel good today!
