I stopped one morning, on my way to school, and took this photo of the jacarandas in bloom. Now that the spring or summer heat is upon us, they are thriving! My in my back yard right now is full of doves waiting for their turn at the bird feeder! Scenic Sunday for May 10, 2009.

I have always loved the color of jacaranda blossoms. There are very few jacaranda trees in Tucson. If I had a bigger yard, I would plant one.
