Watery Wednesday for February 25, 2009 flamingoes

The Marriott has a variety of birds that live in it or stop by, but the flamingoes stay year-round. Many tourists enjoy stopping there and taking photos of them! Right now there are mud nests and soon there will be baby flamingoes! That is their island behind them and at night they go there to rest. Watery Wednesday for February 25, 2009.

How very cool, I would love to stop there to see that sight, especially with the new babies coming. Thanks for sharing such an interesting post.

Your flamingos pictures are wonderful! I've never seen a hotel with flamingos; what a beautiful place with the palm trees and all.

Very nice shots. The water looks so inviting. I would love to see those baby flamingos. I've never seen any.

Yeah, I've never seen baby flamingos either - just adults. And I live in flamingo heaven! (Southwest Florida)
