As I drove up the mountain, from the desert floor, I pass through rugged, rocky hills before I come upon the pinyon forest. I spotted this ocotillo in bloom last weekend and pulled over to snap this photo. Spring is coming to the desert and our foothills and I'm hoping to get some photos of the wildflowers and lupine blooming this weekend.Eastern Sierra

Ocotillo in bloom
As I drove up the mountain, from the desert floor, I pass through rugged, rocky hills before I come upon the pinyon forest. I spotted this ocotillo in bloom last weekend and pulled over to snap this photo. Spring is coming to the desert and our foothills and I'm hoping to get some photos of the wildflowers and lupine blooming this weekend.
