The desert willows are blooming right now. Their bright pink blossoms dot our freeways and deserts. I have two in my yard and one is full of blossoms. The other one I just bought last fall at the Living Desert Reserve and it hasn't got any blossoms yet, but it will next year for sure! I found this one up at the Santa Rosa Mountains visitor center this weekend. I saw several ladybugs on the tree and this one has another kind of bug on it! The bees were busy, too, so I snapped and ran! Macro Monday for May 9, 2011. To view other participants, please go to: http://lisaschaos.com/
