I was at a friend's house yesterday afternoon. While we were in her barn, I glanced out to see this sunburst, so I ran outside to take a closer look. It was a nice break from the desert heat to go visit her. She lives up in Pinyon, which is up at about 4,000 feet in our local mountains. SkyWatch Friday for July 20, 2012.
