More exploring along Highway 395
We continued our trip along Highway 395. We both wanted to stop at Obsidian Mine Road. We let Ripley out there and she got to smell everything! She LOVED it!

I'm loving this series, and it sounds like a great trip. I've never heard of Obsidian Mine road, but will look it up and put it in the "places to go" folder for our next adventure. Having bought a Jeep to pull our Shasta means we can get a bit more off-roady during our travels, and I love visiting old mines. Guess it comes from having a miner as a great uncle.
