"W" is for...ABC Wednesday 122309

wheel. I found these wheels at the Palm Desert Historical Society, next to the firetruck that I posted yesterday. ABC Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Yes, these were the WHEELS that the firemen used to wind their hoses! I forgot to mention that!

Hey ABC neighbor, not many people out there commenting today as they hustle and bustle in the Christmas rush. I enjoyed the calming music. Maybe I'll leave it on all day!!!! Definitely some Wild West Wheels! WWW

Yes, I've noticed it is pretty quiet today! I woke up early (4 a.m.), so I got my posting done this morning.

I think I am the only one wondering around the ABC Wednesday buddies lol....it is very quiet everybody is I guess very busy now wrapping and doing some last minute shopping. Will do it later this afternoon. Is that wheel for the long hose used by the firemen?

It’s that time of year again! I’m doing the rounds and apologising for my complete failure to more regularly offer comment on everybody’s incredible efforts for the year. I know how hard it can be to keep up with the daily grind of everyday posting, and want to thank you for your efforts.

I especially want to wish festive greetings for all from down here at [nearly] the end of the world, the bottom of Tasmania.

So, if you could delete whatever is not applicable, I’d like to wish you a very pleasant/merry/happy/wonderful/safe Amaterasu; Ashurall; Beiwe; Choimus; Christmas; Dazh Boh; Dongzhi; Goru; Hanukkah; Hogmanay; Junkanoo; Karachun; Koleda; Lenæa; Meán Geimhridh; Modranicht; New Years; Ras as-Sana; Rozhanitsa Feast; Şeva Zistanê; shōgatsu; Summer Solstice [if you're in the Southern Hemisphere]; Sviatki; Vánoce; Winter solstice [if you're in the Northern Hemisphere]; Yalda; Yule-tide; Ziemassvētki; and Коляда!

With a hearty three cheers from Kris, Jen, Henry and Ezra!

I only get a chance to comment early in the morning and late at night. Maybe a couple at lunch. usually takes me until Friday to get through a heavy week (90). 70 I'll probably finish tomorrow night.

Nice wheels.
