Sometimes it's the small things~Nature Notes 090210

Sometimes it's the small things that give me a smile, like this ornamental grass at the Living Desert. As I got there very early one morning this summer, I noticed the sun playing with the light on them. I stopped to take these photos and continued on my way. Ahhhh...what a way to start the day! A walk through the Living Desert, and a chance to get out and enjoy our cooler temps! It will be HOT, HOT, HOT today and Friday, but temps will start to fall over the Labor Day weekend and by Tuesday, we'll be back into double digits! Nature Notes for Thursday, September 2, 2010.

The ornamental grass is lovely.

It was so hot here in New Jersey yesterday... I can't wait for REAL autumn weather. Enjoy the double digits of Labor Day.

The light is gorgeous on the grasses. I'm fond of grasses anyway because they are so graceful in a breeze.

Our temperature has dropped dramatically today and it makes me want to go for a run - it's been so hot! On my walk and run route, there is a house that has purple fountain grass along the sidewalk and I always like to spread open my hand and let the grass tickle my fingers.

I LOVE grasses and want to plant more here...the fall colors on them are beautiful...It has been in the upper 80's here, but we are due for a cool down over the weekend....Michelle

Hi,
hai proprio ragione... cosa c'è di meglio di una passeggiata al mattino presto, facendo foto a ciò che ci colpisce di più e ci dona un sorriso ?
Condivido con te !!!
Ciao e buona giornata.
