A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

Meadow and fence, Bishop, CA~Friday's Fences~082412
Very peaceful. If I had something really weighing on my mind would be tempted to pull off the highway and just study this view. Bet the old mind would be a lot more settled--or you'd have the answers--after some time here.
I've been through Bishop a couple of times (although I've never seen this particular fence). It's one of those places that makes me say, "I could live here."
